Starting from the Spring semester of 2026, Sogang University Korean Language Education Center will launch and operate a new Korean language program at the “Sogang–Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus.”

Pangyo is Korea’s leading digital industry cluster, home to major IT and AI companies such as NAVER and Kakao, as well as numerous innovative startups. It is a dynamic hub where education, industry, and research are closely interconnected. Sogang University has established its campus in this industrial center to realize a “field-oriented campus” that integrates education, research, and entrepreneurship.

The Sogang-Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus is located in Weden Tower, occupying approximately 10,000 square meters. It includes facilities for system semiconductor design education, technology management and entrepreneurship programs, and serves as an industry-academic cooperation hub in AI, semiconductors, and mobility sectors.

This Korean language program is designed within this innovative ecosystem to help learners develop linguistic proficiency and cultural competence in close connection with real industrial environments. Targeting global talents, the program offers a differentiated learning experience that enhances both Korean language skills and understanding of Korea’s IT and AI industries.

Sogang University Korean Language Education Center will continue to lead future education models by providing practical, industry-linked Korean language education for global talents.
